Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist.

Job Description:

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clear instructions to patients and ensuring their comfort and safety during diagnostic procedures.
  • Performing cardiac tests including ECG, treadmill stress tests, Holter monitoring, ambulatory BP monitoring, and echocardiography (2D, Doppler, stress echo).
  • Monitoring patients during procedures and responding to signs of distress.
  • Preparing preliminary findings and assisting cardiologists in diagnostic interpretation.
  • Recording and managing diagnostic data in electronic medical records accurately.
  • Operating, calibrating, and maintaining diagnostic equipment according to safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Assisting in the daily running of the medical clinic(s) including reception, registration, billing, inventory, dispensing, etc.
  • Assisting in the management and supervision of the clinic management software system.
  • Participating in audits, clinical quality initiatives, and continuing education.
  • Performing ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Diploma/Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
  • Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support, echocardiography or other cardiac diagnostics is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-based, fast-paced environment.
