Job Title: Pastry Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pastry chef to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with a strong background in baking and pastry arts.

Responsibilities:

  • Cook and prepare high-quality pastries, desserts, and other sweet treats for our customers;
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to meet customer demands and preferences;
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards;
  • Supervise and train junior staff members to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and service;
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a pastry chef in a professional kitchen;
  • Strong knowledge of baking and pastry arts, including ingredients, techniques, and presentation styles;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask;
  • Able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long periods of time;
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
