The role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of electrical systems and equipment while driving energy efficiency and cost optimization within the plant.
They are responsible for upholding electrical safety standards and ensuring regulatory compliance. This includes developing and implementing safety protocols, conducting regular audits and inspections, and training personnel on electrical safety practices.
- Plan and review the replacement schedule for electrical equipment.
- Conduct root cause analysis for complex equipment breakdowns and prepare detailed reports.
- Recommend modifications to equipment as needed.
- Oversee the schedule for electrical-related equipment during shutdown maintenance tasks.
- Respond promptly to urgent breakdown incidents.
- Review and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to electrical systems to optimize energy consumption.
- Manage the yearly preventive maintenance shutdown of the sub-station.
- Address all electrical-related troubleshooting issues.
- Manage and update inventory records.
- Review, prepare, and provide input for Risk Assessments.
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a multinational corporation or chemical plant environment.
- Self-disciplined, meticulous, and resourceful.
- Knowledgeable about Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) regulations.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Strong data analysis capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Tactful with a high degree of integrity.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Capable of multitasking and performing well under pressure.
