Job Title: Maintenance and Engineering Sustainability Specialist
We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our strategic sustainability initiatives and manage the building's sustainability systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for reducing energy consumption and promoting sustainable practices.
- Maintain and optimize the operations of all plants, equipment, and systems within the building.
- Formulate and implement a sustainability management plan in line with industry standards.
- Work closely with consultants to ensure compliance for Green Mark verifications and re-certification.
- Interface with stakeholders on sustainability matters.
- Analyze utilities consumption (Electricity, Water & Chilled Water) and take appropriate actions to minimize wastage and maximize efficiency.
- Procure Electricity from Energy Market.
- Oversee the maintenance and operations of ACMV systems and IBMS in the building.
- Monitor and optimize the operations of M&E systems without compromising safety and comfort.
- Develop and monitor preventive maintenance plans for the M&E system.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities to ensure contractors/vendors complete all repair and maintenance work within required timelines and standards.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.
- Knowledge of operations, maintenance, and related local ordinances for Green Building Operation.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Professional certification in sustainability, ACMV, and/or energy management.
- Green Mark Facilities Manager (GMFM) / SCEM trained preferably.
