The Technology Development and Commercialisation team is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to drive the commercialisation of new healthcare-related technologies.
You will work closely with the clinical research community to identify and capitalise on intellectual property opportunities across a range of healthcare fields.
Key responsibilities include reviewing invention disclosure submissions, liaising with stakeholders, and engaging with external parties to increase awareness of our capabilities and opportunities for collaboration.
You will also support the identification and engagement of potential licensees for our institution's intellectual property portfolio.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in biotechnology, biomedical engineering, or a relevant scientific/engineering field with at least eight years of experience in commercial partnerships.
- Ability to work effectively with key stakeholders, build business relationships, and negotiate commercial contracts.
- Track record of successfully translating technical concepts into commercially viable proposals.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, organisational, and administrative skills.
