Job Description:

This is an IT support group seeking a highly skilled Licensing Manager to join our team. As a Licensing Manager, you will play a critical role in leading and managing the licensing regimes of Environmental Health licenses.

About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional with a degree in Science/Engineering (Chemistry, Chemical/Environmental Engineering, or equivalent) and at least 5 years' working experience in operational work, regulatory or enforcement in a public-health related field with a managerial position. You should have good interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships and working relationships.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the licensing regimes of Environmental Health licenses, including the monitoring of the team's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on licence applications. Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the team for day-to-day operations, as well as business continuity planning in times of crisis or system disruptions. Guide and supervise the team's handling of public enquiries and feedback, ensuring proper and timely responses within stipulated service standards. Direct and oversee administrative matters, including training and performance evaluation of licensing officers. Collaborate with other NEA Support Divisions, e.g., IT Division on licensing system implementation plans, Finance Division on licence fee matters, Internal Audit Division on licence-related audits, and Service Quality Division on service standards and customer satisfaction surveys.
