Job Overview

This role requires a skilled Physical Design Engineer to lead the design and realization of chip floorplans, clock architectures, and power plans from netlist to GDSII.

You will be responsible for physical design tasks, including placement and routing, formal verification, static timing analysis, physical verification, power analysis, and design for reliability.

Additionally, you will lead analog designs during product development and establish physical design methodologies for advanced process nodes, building an automatic physical design platform.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and realization of chip floorplan, clock architecture, and power plan from netlist to GDSII.
  • In-charge of physical design tasks, including placement and routing, formal verification, static timing analysis, physical verification, power analysis, and design for reliability.
  • Lead analog designs during product development.
  • Establish physical design methodologies for advanced process nodes and build an automatic physical design platform.

Requirements
  • PhD or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics or Integrated Circuit/Microelectronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in digital backend IC circuit design/physical design.
  • Familiarity with synthesis, place and route, STA, and design convergence.
  • Proficient in tapeout experience at advanced technology, with TCL, Perl, Python script development, and EDA tool design knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a new startup entity in Singapore.
