Job Title: Lead Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Lead Project Manager to lead a team supporting Software Applications Product Development for the Defence account. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving project development and management of technology products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project implementation on a daily basis, ensuring schedules, budget, manpower, and quality are met.
  • Establish and prepare project plans, risk management plans, project milestones, and deliverables in consultation with business users and architects/designers.
  • Manage scope definition and change control mechanisms, integrating various project components, including hardware, software installation, testing, business process review, redesign, application development, migration, and data conversion.
  • Manage project activities to ensure timely delivery, identifying critical path, monitoring, and driving completion of interdependent activities, and adjusting project schedules to achieve overall completion deadlines.
  • Manage resources, including hardware, software, human resources, facilities, and logistics, to ensure completion within budget.
  • Review project documentation to ensure it meets customer requirements and conforms to quality management processes, standards, and procedures to minimize rework and system failures.
  • Define project resources, performance reviews, and post-implementation evaluations.
Requirements:
  • More than 10 years of IT project and/or product management experience.
  • Prior experience in defence, homeland security, and public sector-related projects is preferred.
  • Experience in managing projects in Agile methodology development, implementation, and support of engineering/information technology projects in a range of organizations.
  • Proven track record in assuming overall responsibilities and managing large-scale projects.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude, creative, and excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, including strong persuasive techniques.
  • Able to lead, develop, and maintain a respectful and trusting relationship.
  • Due to project nature, only Singaporeans are encouraged to apply.
Certifications & Skills:
  • Strong technical knowledge of software development and innovative technologies in the market.
  • Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Aha).
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar project management certification.
