Lead Culinary Director

We are seeking a passionate and innovative culinary leader to oversee the hotel's vibrant all-day dining and cafe. This role offers the unique opportunity to blend creativity with purpose, designing menus that celebrate both local and international flavours while fostering an inclusive kitchen environment.

This position requires strong leadership skills, as well as a deep understanding of food safety standards, kitchen operations, and cost control practices. The ideal candidate will have experience leading inclusive kitchens or working with persons with special needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing menus that reflect creativity, nutritional balance, and inclusivity
  • Ensuring consistency in food quality, taste, portioning, and presentation across all service periods
  • Overseeing inventory control, ordering, stock rotation, and wastage reduction
  • Developing and enforcing kitchen SOPs to optimise efficiency and consistency
  • Leading, training, and mentoring a diverse culinary team
