Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate responsibilities and oversee operations for assigned areas and lines, monitoring productivity rates against established targets.
  • Oversight of materials management and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for materials management and cleaning activities.
  • Propose and implement improvements to production workflows, equipment, and systems to achieve production targets in a timely manner.
  • Plan and manage production activities to drive operational efficiency and excellence, possessing underlying technical knowledge of equipment and systems within the facilities.
  • Comply strictly with highly regulated standards.
Major Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive collaborative efforts required to deliver quality and compliance performance for the shift.
  • Initiate, manage, and make decisions that impact product quality.
  • Model and promote behaviors that ensure delivery of high-quality products for our customers while championing compliance with Abbott policies and procedures, meeting all local and statutory requirements.
  • Accountable for shopfloor incident investigation and reporting for assigned areas, coupled with timely escalation and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Track, trend, and continuously improve performance for overtime, OEE, production (unit/hour, pound/hour), MUV, Scrap, and CIP for assigned areas.
  • Promote and drive continuous improvement programs using Operational Excellence tools and methodologies in processes/procedures in the shift for root cause analysis and resolution of issues.
  • Drive OEE performance, understand the drivers, and develop and execute plans around improvement of line performance and quality metrics with support from direct manager.
  • Actively plan and organize the day-to-day manufacturing operations and schedules.
  • Anticipate and drive proper alignment and prioritization between manufacturing and support teams.
  • Coach and direct individuals and the team to meet performance goals and objectives.
  • Lead efforts required to deliver the EHS performance for the shift/line of accountability.
  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
  • Diploma with minimum 5 years of experience in a regulated industry.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication.
  • Possess coaching and development skill.
  • Possess change management and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess control knowledge.
  • Is a team-player.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Experience working on Continuous Improvement Projects.
  • Is analytical and systematic in investing programs and decisive in implementing optimal solutions in the course of his work.
Location

Tuas, Singapore

This position is based in Tuas and is on a 12-hour rotation shift.
