Software Engineering Leader Position

We are seeking a talented Software Engineering Leader to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and deployment of software systems, as well as mentoring and guiding junior engineers. They will also be expected to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and to identify opportunities for process improvements.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned software engineer who is looking to take on a leadership role and make a meaningful impact on our organization.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of software systems
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers
  • Oversee the deployment of software systems
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in software development or a related field
  • Professional experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, CircleCI, or Bitbucket
  • Professional experience with cloud deployment patterns
  • General knowledge of multiple languages and expert in-depth knowledge of at least one language
  • Strong software engineering and system design fundamentals
  • Experience with all stages of SDLC
  • Experience with SRE principles, as well as diagnosis, prevention, performance management, and availability of large distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSc, MSc, PhD in relevant field (Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar)
  • Experience with Prometheus and Grafana
  • Experience with the use of ML and/or agentic AI
