
Strategic Contract Administrator

This is a key role within the organization, responsible for overseeing and managing all contractual obligations, disputes, and negotiations for construction projects.
The successful candidate will play a strategic role in ensuring the successful delivery of complex construction contracts. They will be an integral member of the team and work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Manage the Quantity Surveyor (QS) team and project profit & loss, dealing with client concerns.
- Establish team objectives and motivate/develop QSs to achieve them.
- Establish, develop, implement, and monitor systems for QS, contract, and cost management.
- Review and monitor project costing, including inter-project and inter-company cost/charging concerns.
- Resolve problems encountered by QS/project teams, including dealing with clients/sub-contractors on cost and contractual matters.
- Take ownership of project cost/contractual related settlements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years' relevant experience.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating, drafting, and administering diverse construction contracts.
- Excellent knowledge of construction law, contract management principles, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve contractual issues.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities to liaise with cross-functional teams.
