The Edge Partnership seeks a seasoned Chief Risk Governance Officer to spearhead its Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) efforts. This pivotal role demands a proven leader with at least 10 years of non-financial, operational or enterprise risk management experience, preferably within banks or fintech companies.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of technology and cyber-security landscape, including cloud hosted platforms, firewalls, EDR, vulnerability and threat management, access management, etc.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of various risk types, including Information & Data, Compliance, and Financial Crime & Compliance risks.
  • Design and implement firm-wide frameworks, policies, and standards for Banking Technology.
  • Implement and oversee the maintenance of risk tools, ensuring they address governance needs at various stages of growth.
  • Partner with the first line of defense to resolve identified risks and issues in a timely manner.
  • Assume Executive Risk Committee Secretariat responsibilities, organizing meetings, defining Terms of Reference, and preparing minutes.
  • Take on Data Protection Officer responsibilities, ensuring compliance with regulations like the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal control mechanisms, promoting a risk culture through training and stakeholder dealings.
  • Budget and plan for risk management tools and staff training.
  • Drive initiatives to secure certifications, such as ISO 31000.
Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

  • At Least 10 Years of Experience: Non-financial, operational or enterprise risk management experience, preferably within banks or fintech companies.
  • Cyber Security Expertise: Strong understanding of technology and cyber-security landscape, including cloud hosted platforms, firewalls, EDR, vulnerability and threat management, access management, etc.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Risk Management Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of investors' perspectives on the anticipated risk landscape.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
