BIM Manager and Technical Specialist Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager and Technical Specialist to manage our building information modelling processes and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing BIM Standards: Implement and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and procedures across projects.
  • BIM Model Creation: Oversee the creation of BIM models and associated data by project teams.
  • BIM Training: Provide training and support to project teams on the effective use of BIM tools and technologies.
  • BIM Collaboration: Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify and address BIM-related challenges and opportunities.
  • BIM Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the performance of BIM processes and technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar BIM management role within the building services engineering industry.
  • Proficient in the use of BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, and experience in managing BIM projects from concept to completion.
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Thorough understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices within the industry.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and the ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
