Process Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Process Optimization Specialist to lead the development and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, focusing on risk assessments, technical direction, quality assurance, and quotation process optimization.

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and implement improvements that enhance process stability and production efficiency, leveraging expertise in optics, physics, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to technicians on process and manufacturing issues, ensuring seamless collaboration and knowledge transfer.
  • Liaise closely with quality teams to ensure continuous quality improvement, adopting Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies to drive excellence.
  • Collaborate in the quotation process by conducting technical assessments of manufacturability, applying in-depth knowledge of optical and mechanical drawings.
Key Requirements:
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Optics, Physics, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, demonstrating strong academic foundation and relevant skills.
  • Bring a minimum of 3 years of experience in a process engineering role within a manufacturing environment, showcasing expertise in process optimization and team leadership.

Working knowledge of ISO standards, SAP systems, and Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies is essential. Proficiency in interpreting complex optical and mechanical drawings is also required. Strong mathematical aptitude and effective communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
