Job Description
We're seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Engineering and Development Cluster. As part of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance manpower efficiency and system reliability in our Baggage Handling Systems, Automated People Mover, and security screening X-ray machines. You will leverage advanced technologies such as robotics, IoT sensors, and data analytics to drive these improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of BHS, APM, and X-ray systems, and analyze operational data and maintenance records to identify and implement innovative solutions that boost efficiency and reliability.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including ground handling agents and CAG's outsourced maintenance contractors, to validate and refine innovative solutions.
- Evaluate proposals from potential contractors and manage innovation projects, including coordinating with stakeholders and overseeing contractor installation work.
- Create and execute test plans and assess results from live trials.
- Provide on-site support for the BHS team's Business Continuity Plan during BHS failures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to minimize project delays.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and explain solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of Python programming, data analytics, and data visualization software is a plus.
- Candidates with no work experience are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with product prototyping and embedded systems is advantageous.
Salary
Our estimated salary range for this position is between $80,000 to $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
