This is an exciting opportunity to join the Goldman Sachs Legal Division in Singapore as a Vice President. The successful candidate will work at the intersection of finance and law, providing counsel and advice to support activities across the firm.
Key Responsibilities- Drafting and negotiating contracts with external service providers and consultants, including technology agreements, software licensing, data and content licensing, professional services agreements, intellectual property arrangements, corporate services, operations, security, tax and audit engagement letters.
- Reviewing and advising on laws and developments related to technology and cybersecurity.
- Reviewing and advising on data privacy and intellectual property related matters, in collaboration with divisional and other specialist lawyers.
- Coordinating and reviewing outsourcing processes.
- Providing general legal and contract-related advice.
- Drafting, reviewing and coordinating internal services agreements.
- Reviewing and maintaining a library of contract templates and managing shared document libraries, including updating templates and related source documents.
- Instructing/working with/manage external counsel and consultants.
- Working closely with internal business clients and Legal and Compliance colleagues in identifying, assessing, and advising on various regulatory issues.
- Working with internal business clients and Legal and Compliance colleagues regarding the structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex transactions.
