Trade Marketing Specialist Job DescriptionJob Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Trade Marketing Specialist to spearhead strategic initiatives that drive business growth and elevate brand visibility.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive trade marketing plans, collaborating with sales teams to design effective promotion strategies, and fostering strong relationships with key retailers and distributors.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth;
  • Collaborating with the sales and business development teams to develop and implement effective sales promotion strategies;
  • Developing and executing comprehensive trade marketing plans to drive brand visibility and sales growth;
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key retailers and distributors to ensure successful partnerships;
  • Designing and implementing in-store promotions, displays, and other marketing activities to enhance brand presence;
  • Planning, organizing, and participating in trade shows to promote the brand, showcase products, and generate leads;
  • Preparing business proposals, presentations, and reports on trade marketing activities and performance;
  • Coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of projects and orders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, International Business, or related disciplines;
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in trade marketing or FMCG industry and experience working with sales teams and retailers;
  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and office software;
  • Experience in project management is advantageous.
