Senior Leadership Role

The Senior Leader will be responsible for overseeing marketing activities for trade finance products, including LC/guarantee issuance, LC confirmation/discounting, ARP, SCF, milestone basis mid-term trade solutions, structured trade, and ECA finance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, including non-Japanese corporate clients, Singapore local companies, and global subsidiaries in Singapore.
  • Responsible for marketing from origination, structuring, negotiation, documentation to deal execution for corporate clients.
  • Manage workflow with team members from various departments, including but not limited to Coverage, Legal, Credit, Operations for successful deal management.
  • Demonstrate best practices by following internal rules & procedures, relevant regulations, and compliance matters.
  • Prior experience in handling trade financing products, solutions for commodity and trader segments is highly desirable.
  • Report progress on pipeline deals and updates on marketing activities, support Head of Working Capital in business and reporting activities.
Requirements
  • Rich experience of trade finance marketing promotion, origination, structuring, commercial negotiation, and deal execution.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset and active marketing attitude.
  • Strong communication skills to manage key relationships internally & externally.
  • Demonstrate best practice as a role model, act as 1st line of defense and good sense of Customer Compliance First.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel under pressure and to time constraints with significant changes.
  • Experience to support planning of the marketing strategy and execution in APAC's countries and sector approach.
  • Good understanding of the Singapore Trade Finance, Trade digitalization, and Transaction Banking products and competitor landscape.
  • As a team player, ability to work in cross-functional teams to deliver appropriate trade finance solutions for customers.
