Job Title: Localization Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Localization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our localization team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of translated content.


Responsibilities
  • Test game localization to assess product design quality and reliability
  • Review and fine-tune translated text by verifying integrity of text in game
  • Generate QA reports
  • Collaborate with internal or external localization staff to ensure all projects meet deadlines with highest quality

Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in the localization industry
  • Proficiency in Game Localization/Translation for Simplified Chinese speaking markets (listening, speaking, reading, writing skills) in Simplified Chinese and Mandarin is essential
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Advanced editing and proofreading skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in game localization
  • Experience in game testing and localization functionality
  • Prior knowledge of game software localization and localization tools
