We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Professional to join our team in Singapore. This role involves taking ownership of sales activities for Instrumentation & Control Systems portfolio within the marine industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing marine clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Singapore and the region.
- Provide technical sales support on instrumentation, sensors, and control systems for marine applications.
- Understand client needs and propose suitable testing, inspection, and certification services and products.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical documentation in collaboration with internal teams.
- Maintain strong market knowledge and monitor industry trends.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
- Collaborate closely with operations and service teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Marine Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in technical sales within the marine or offshore industry.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation, sensors, and control systems for marine applications.
- Familiarity with the TIC industry – experience with classification societies, port authorities, or inspection bodies is a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and customer-oriented.
- Willingness to travel within the region occasionally.
