About the Role

The Procurement Executive is a critical role within Knight Auto Precision Engineering Pte Ltd, responsible for ensuring seamless procurement processes. This involves managing end-to-end procurement activities, from RFQ to contract execution.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of procurement principles and practices, with experience in sourcing commodities in semiconductor, precision engineering, and manufacturing industries. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as they will work closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, production, and logistics teams.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement procurement best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and workflow improvements. You will also support supply chain risk management by identifying alternative sources and mitigating disruptions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement processes, including RFQ, supplier selection, purchase order management, and contract execution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with production needs.
  • Utilize ERP systems to manage procurement processes, track inventory, and generate reports.

Requirements

This role requires:

  • Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in semiconductor, precision engineering, or manufacturing industries.
  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing commodities in semiconductor, precision engineering, metal, and plastics industries.
  • Understanding of batch manufacturing and supply chain best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset, eager to learn new technologies and industry trends.
