Early Intervention Specialist

Metta Punggol is a specialized early intervention service provider for children aged 2–6 years with mild to moderate autism spectrum disorder, global developmental delay, and/or intellectual disabilities.

This role will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of our early intervention curriculum, ensuring effective delivery aligned with the ECHO framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support teachers in planning and executing curriculum that meets individual education goals and adheres to the ECHO framework.
  • Ensure curriculum implementation aligns with ECHO framework and provides opportunities for child growth and development.
  • Lead curriculum reviews and enhancements in collaboration with senior staff and management to ensure alignment with Metta's mission and vision.
  • Monitor teaching quality and provide regular feedback and mentoring to enhance teacher performance and professional growth.
  • Participate in ECHO GCO meetings with parents and teams to review child progress and collaborate on strategies for continued growth and development.
Centre & Administrative Oversight:
  • Oversee class scheduling and staff coverage to ensure seamless program delivery and maintain a high-quality learning environment.
  • Manage new student placements and class assignments to ensure timely and accurate documentation and smooth transition for families.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation, including IEPs, progress reports, and lesson plans to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with reporting, teacher appraisals, and staff development to promote continuous improvement and employee engagement.
Compliance & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Ensure programme standards meet regulatory requirements, including NCSS, MSF, SSR, PES, QA, and PDPA.
  • Maintain ISO standards in line with Metta's protocols to ensure compliance and adherence to best practices.
  • Lead orientation sessions for newly enrolled children and families to facilitate a smooth transition and foster strong relationships.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to maintain open and collaborative relationships with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders.
