Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Trader to join our team at Pacific Wells Pte. Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maritime and commodity trading, with excellent analytical and communication skills.


Key Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth loading and discharging operations to prevent demurrage and optimize vessel utilization.

• Respond to vessel issues, coordinating with concerned parties to resolve problems efficiently.

• Conduct market research and analysis to inform trading strategies and maximize profit.

• Draft and send sales contracts to buyers, and manage a fleet of regularly chartered vessels.

• Develop and maintain close business relationships with buyers, sellers, and shipowners.

• Stay up-to-date with market developments and trends in commodities.


Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Maritime or a related field; no experience required, training provided.

• Experience in maritime, shipping, chartering, or commodity trading is an asset.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

• Proficiency in VBA, C#, and other relevant software.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
