We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the design and development of 4G/5G base station L2/L3 software architectures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality L2/L3 protocol software with extensive experience in commercial network R&D, particularly with a focus on 5G technologies and base station development.
  • Collaborate closely with operators to meet their requirements and handle protocol stack software requirements communication, architecture design, development, troubleshooting, and system optimization.

Requirements Analysis & Solution Design:

  • Understand the complexity of 5G features and develop corresponding solutions based on operator requirements.
  • Lead the team to design and deliver high-quality L2/L3 software with extensive experience in requirements analysis, solution design, and software development.

L2/L3 Protocol Software Development:

  • Develop and implement the base station L2/L3 protocol layers to ensure high-performance solutions with expertise in C, C++, and Python programming languages and related 5G development tools.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of the base station L2/L3 protocol layers to ensure high-performance solutions.

Problem Diagnosis & Resolution:

  • Expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing the 5G base station L2/L3 protocol stack to ensure network performance and stability.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

  • Collect and analyze customer requirements and coordinate with system architects and development teams to ensure efficient development and delivery.
  • Work closely with testing teams to ensure high-quality solution implementation and performance validation.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, computer science, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in commercial network R&D, with a focus on 5G technologies and base station development.

Professional Knowledge & Experience:

  • Expertise in 5G base station and protocol stack design, particularly L2/L3 protocol layers and their architecture.
  • In-depth understanding of protocols such as NR, RRC, PDCP, RLC, MAC, and their interaction mechanisms.

Skill Requirements:

  • Proficiency in programming languages (C, C++, Python) and related 5G development tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of key 5G protocols such as RRC, PDCP, RLC, MAC.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with extensive experience in diagnosing and optimizing 5G protocol stack issues.
  • Familiarity with 3GPP standards and the 5G network architecture.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to clearly and accurately convey technical concepts.
  • Strong teamwork and leadership abilities, with the capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
