Job Title: Protective Services Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Protective Services Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment within our designated premises.

This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a security or related role, with a strong commitment to safety and security.
  • You will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, controlling access to the premises, responding to alarms and emergency situations, and maintaining accurate records and logs.
  • Your keen eye for detail and ability to think critically will enable you to identify potential security breaches and take prompt action to mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patrols and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to monitor for suspicious activities or potential security breaches.
  2. Access Control: Control access to the premises by checking identification and maintaining visitor logs.
  3. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, liaising with relevant authorities as required.
  4. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records and logs of all security-related incidents and activities.
  5. Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
  6. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Security Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a security or related role.
  • Strong Commitment to Safety: A strong commitment to safety and security, with the ability to think critically and respond effectively to emergencies.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Licenses and Certifications: A valid security officer license (PLRD).
  • Criminal Record Check: A clean criminal record and the ability to pass a background check.
