This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape the IBM infrastructure in a strategic IT environment. The role involves developing long-term infrastructure strategies and managing the full lifecycle of AS400 systems, including hardware, software, and network components.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience as an AS400 Administrator or similar, with a deep understanding of IBM iSeries hardware, OS400, related software, SQL, CL, and tools like IBM iDoctor, Performance Manager, and Job Watcher.

A successful candidate should also have excellent troubleshooting skills for data, application, and system performance issues, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.

In addition, the candidate should be able to mentor junior staff, provide training, and maintain accurate system documentation and procedures.
