Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the Accounts Payable Specialist is to ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable tasks with efficiency and accuracy, including vendor invoice processing for a high volume of invoices and disbursements, vendor communication, internal control monitoring, and developing and maintaining high-quality processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing and verifying vendor invoices for payment
- Communicating with vendors regarding payment status and resolving any discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field preferred
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in an accounting function
- Large ERP AP system experience, SAP preferred
Skills:
- Fluent in English, experience working or studying in an English language environment is sufficient
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and is solution-oriented
