Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Solutions Specialist to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our sales engineering team, you will play a vital role in enhancing our regional footprint within the existing client base and extending usage to other areas of the platform.

About the Role

This senior-level position involves demonstrating Alpha Platform solutions to numerous prominent investment management, wealth management, banking, and insurance companies across Asia Pacific. You will be responsible for:

  • Becoming an expert on the Charles River IMS and Alpha Data Platform.
  • Serving as a liaison between market participants, existing clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborating closely with Charles River Relationship Management and Sales teams to drive end-client adoption of our solutions and identify new opportunities.
  • Developing strong relationships with Charles River clients through business and social interactions.
  • Traveling to clients and prospective clients across Asia Pacific.
  • Remaining up-to-date on developments and enhancements to CR IMS and Alpha Data Platform.
  • Providing informal training to Charles River Sales, Relationship Management, implementation staff, and clients on the product.
  • Assisting with RFPs and POCs.

You will allocate your time as follows:

  • 25% Organizing and running client engagements and detailed workshops with business units and end users.
  • 25% Preparing and presenting detailed product presentations and demonstrations to sophisticated investment professionals.
  • 25% Following up with clients and prospects to address any unanswered questions or objections.
  • 10% Assisting with RFPs or request for information preparation.
  • 10% Engaging in self-training on product features and training internal teams on client system usage.
  • 5% Representing CRD at conferences and industry trade show events.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • An understanding of investment markets from a front and/or middle office perspective and the ability to articulate and demonstrate CRD advantages.
  • Technical acumen to understand requirements and objections.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
  • Foster relationships with senior market practitioners in large and small corporations.
  • Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to differentiate and work at strategic and tactical levels simultaneously.
  • A consultative presentation style to diverse and complex audiences.
  • A high degree of proficiency in navigating front and middle office investment applications.
  • Language skills - Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese, or Thai would be an advantage but are not mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Experience in the financial markets industry (mandatory).
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of Financial Services industry background and experience with investment management software and/or data solutions.
  • A Bachelor's Degree from a leading university in Business Management, Economics, Finance, or Computer Science.
Additional Requirements

This role requires estimated Asia-Pacific regional travel of 20-30%.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
