Job Title: Senior Business Compliance Specialist

About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Compliance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, project management, and regulatory compliance.

The Business Compliance Specialist will be responsible for providing expertise in business analysis and project management to ensure regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to document business requirements ensuring alignment with regulations.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends and insights that support compliance with regulations.
  • Process Enhancement and Modelling: Develop and optimize business processes to meet regulatory standards.
  • Stakeholder Management and Communication: Ensure clear communication and understanding of regulatory requirements among stakeholders.
  • Solution Implementation and Testing: Oversee the implementation of solutions that ensure compliance with regulations, including testing for effectiveness.
  • Gap Analysis: Identify gaps in current processes and systems related to compliance and recommend improvements.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with compliance.
  • Creating Business Requirements: Develop detailed business requirements for systems and processes to ensure compliance.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on compliance and related processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve processes to maintain compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Project Management Certification: An added plus.
  • Experience: In banking, personally identifiable information protection, and regulatory projects is mandatory.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management Skills: Problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude are essential.
  • Ability to Quickly Pick Up: And undertake necessary steps to fulfill internal procedures/processes in accordance with compliance and governance framework.
  • Strong Capabilities in Producing Project Reporting: To various forums.
