Job Title: Measurement and Cost Estimation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Measurement and Cost Estimation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction project management team, you will be responsible for managing and preparing measurements and cost estimates for projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying or a related field, with excellent communication and negotiation skills. They should also possess experience in building project management, including tender evaluation and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and prepare measurements and cost estimates for construction projects
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
  • Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors, and negotiate where necessary
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimates for projects and tender submissions
  • Review and study C&S, Archi, and M&E drawings
  • Prepare contract documents in accordance with regulations
  • Perform cost analysis and monitor project overruns to ensure objectives are achieved
  • Access payment and variation works to clients and subcontractors to facilitate smooth workflow
  • Communicate with clients, management, subcontractors, and track progression of main contracts and sub-contracts
  • Monitor and track project progress and measure and value variations in work during contract
