The role of Snr Product Engineer is pivotal in driving business outcomes and advancing innovation.

As a key member of the Heterogeneous Integration Group (HIG), this position will focus on High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) Product Engineering, leveraging data analytics to enhance yield and quality.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and proficiency in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning. Experience with TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and PyTorch is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
  • Cumulative Yield Ownership: Lead cross-functional initiatives to significantly enhance yield and quality.
  • Data Analysis for Yield Improvement and Reliability: Utilize in-house statistical tools and AI to enhance yields and reliability.
  • Models/Algorithm Development: Develop state-of-the-art algorithms for data mining, pattern recognition, wafer/die level screening, and efficiency enhancements.
  • Product Disposition Solutions: Develop and deploy product-disposition solutions to ensure quality and reduce DPM.
  • Deviation Alert System: Create a deviation alert system to monitor yield loss and trends across wafers/dies/cubes.
  • Data Infrastructure Development: Collaborate with IT, Manufacturing, and Operations to develop and enhance data infrastructure pipelines using cloud technologies.
  • Mentorship and Development: Mentor and develop team members to foster growth within the team and organization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Fab, HBM Technology Development, HBM Design, System Development, and Quality/Reliability teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
  • At least 6 years of experience in data analytics/science; experience in Micron Product Engineering or the semiconductor industry is preferred.
  • Proven experience leading analytic projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong leadership and technical skills with a deep understanding of data analytics, data extraction, and analysis tools.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning.
  • Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
