Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform methods engineering analysis to design and implement efficient manufacturing processes, including process design, time and motion study.
  • Lead industrial engineering projects and programs within areas of responsibility.
  • Implement project recommendations into business with quality tools and supporting processes.
  • Conduct cost analysis and return on investment calculations for project selection.

Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting/leading ergonomics/human factors evaluations and recommending improvements to work area designs. You will also develop/lead and implement manufacturing facility design of plant layout, material handling systems, material staging, and warehousing as desired.

Furthermore, you will support new product introductions by providing PLC/ePLC deliverables which include manufacturing line design and set up, material flow design, new tooling development, and deployment of specialized tooling and fixtures.

As a key team member, you will serve as a role model and set an example, whose behavior is emulated by other engineering team members. This includes safe behavior, following proper protocols and procedures.

Calculating and maintaining capacity data for materials processing, people, space, and equipment associated with production is another key aspect of this role. You will provide guidance to manufacturing and logistics related to effective and efficient use of assets and production processes.

Establishing standards and procedures for assigned areas of responsibility is also an essential duty.
