Job Title:

The Activity Engagement Specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing individual/group engagement sessions for patients under the guidance of a therapist and program executive. The role involves ensuring smooth implementation of sessions, monitoring patients' safety and well-being, and assessing and documenting patient performance during sessions.

  • Design and implement Individual/Group engagement sessions
  • Ensure smooth implementation of sessions
  • Transfer and porter patients for group sessions
  • Monitor patients' safety and well-being
  • Assess and document patient performance
Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage logistics required for sessions
  • Record patient assessment scores and performance in an Excel document
Education and Training:
  • Train caregivers/volunteers on engagement activities
  • Support program executives in orientating new volunteers
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate planning and organizational skills
  • Perform data entry tasks efficiently
  • Show excellent team collaboration and communication skills
  • Be self-directed and able to work independently
  • Prior experience working with Palliative patients is an advantage
