We are seeking a seasoned Principal Structural Design Engineer to spearhead our design initiatives. This pivotal role entails conducting thorough structure analysis, providing technical engineering information, and developing architectural/engineering drawings. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in design and construction, as well as a degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting rigorous structure analysis to ensure compliance with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instructions.
- Developing architectural/engineering drawings and ensuring specifications/regulations are followed.
- Liaising with architects, engineers, and other departments to ensure the design intentions are met.
- Preparing bills of quantities and cost estimation whenever required.
- Identifying potential discrepancies that affect the design and recommending solutions to relevant teams/departments.
- Adhering to safety practices.
Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience in design and construction.
- Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering from accredited Universities.
- Experience in MRT & LTA projects.
- Well-versed in structure analysis and design software such as ORION, SAP2000, SAFE, PROKON, PLAXIS or other similar software.
- Well-versed in Autocad and BIM software is preferred.
