Localization Expert

You'll be the lead for all localization efforts in your market, ensuring our platform and channels resonate with local cultures. This involves production, delivery, and quality of localization materials, as well as collaborating with the central Quality Team to monitor and optimize language quality.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Delivery
    • Ensure timely delivery of localization work for your language(s)/market(s).
  • Quality Monitoring
    • Monitor quality of localized content, provide feedback to vendors, address translation issues, and escalate recurring problems to the central Quality Team.
    • Oversee product testing for your market.
  • Vendor Management
    • Assess and onboard new vendors.
    • Build relationships with vendor linguists.
  • Localization Services
    • Provide urgent translations as needed.
    • Consult on selected localization services.
  • Strategy
    • Contribute to central localization strategy from a local market perspective.
    • Identify opportunities for enhanced customer experience.
    • Establish relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Facilitate research and experimentation.

For this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in localization for the online space.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Thai/Vietnamese/Hindi for specific markets.
  • Proven experience in translation, localization, and language quality management.
  • Knowledge of localization technology and internationalization principles.
