About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Executive to join our team at Seng Hua Hng Foodstuff Pte Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and monitoring long-term and short-term inventory and procurement planning, ensuring smooth material flow and sufficient quantity for production.
You will source and purchase Raw & Packaging materials, semi-finished goods, spare parts, and office-used equipment, negotiating with international and local suppliers for competitive prices. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with current suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Business/Supply Chain and at least 2 years of experience in procurement within the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics Nav, is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies
- Source and purchase high-quality materials from reputable suppliers
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements
- Maintain accurate records and reports on procurement activities
- Ensure compliance with QMS and Food Safety programs
