Description:

The primary duties of the Restaurant Server Assistant include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that customers have an enjoyable dining experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Engage with customers in a friendly and courteous manner, answer questions, and assist with resolving any issues or concerns.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Present menus, take orders, and serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing food, including cooking, cleaning, and wrapping, to ensure high-quality dishes are served to customers.
  • Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately and handle customer payments in a professional and secure manner.
  • Billing and Invoicing: Prepare bills and itemize costs and taxes correctly.
  • Order Assembly: Verify orders for accuracy and completeness, and pack items for dine-in or take-out as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You should also have knowledge of food safety regulations and protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
