Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Valuation Actuary to join our team in APAC.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IFRS17, Solvency II, and experience analysis, with a strong background in data analytics tools such as R, SQL, or Python.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing insights on drivers of financial performance, overseeing quarterly production of L&H reserves, and supporting annual assumption setting.

They will also guide APAC L&H actuarial teams on methodology, techniques, and judgment, implement process improvement initiatives, and coordinate with auditors on actuarial topics.

The role requires strong technical skills, independence, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide insights on drivers of financial performance
  • Oversee quarterly production of L&H reserves
  • Support annual assumption setting
  • Guide APAC L&H actuarial teams
  • Implement process improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate with auditors

Requirements:

  • Qualified or nearly qualified Actuary (FSA, FIA, or FIAA)
  • Extensive experience in IFRS17, Solvency II, experience analysis, or local statutory reporting in APAC

  • Strong technical skills and independence
