Inventory Management Specialist

The role of Inventory Coordinator is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management system. This includes overseeing the preparation of purchase orders, monitoring stock levels, and maintaining healthy safety stocks.

  • Prepare Purchase Order to order goods, accurately recording all relevant details.
  • Monitor stock level and maintain healthy safety stocks and place order for replenishment in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular physical stock checks to track stock movements and minimize loss or damage.
  • Prepare stock reports using computerized inventory systems, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making.
  • Prepare stocks for delivery, coordinating with logistics teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Monitor incoming stock deliveries and liaise with freight forwarders to address any issues promptly.
  • Work closely with accounting and sales departments to ensure accurate billing and stock delivery.
  • Handle impromptu delivery matters and sales quotations, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.

Our inventory consists of medical products, which are not large or heavy and are stored in an air-conditioned room for easy handling and counting.

Requirements

  • A minimum GCE 'O' Level qualification.
  • At least one year of working experience in an inventory-related job function.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems, preferably QuickBooks or computerized inventory systems.
  • An independent, responsible, and meticulous approach to work.
  • A cheerful, positive attitude, pleasant personality, and willingness to learn.
