About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Systems Designer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing mechanical systems that meet the highest standards of efficiency, safety, and reliability.
Your primary responsibility will be to perform initial engineering tasks on mechanical services detailed designs, including calculations and computer simulations, under the supervision of senior engineers. This will involve preparing submissions to authorities for approval of design, attending project meetings with clients, project managers, and consultants from other disciplines, and responding to technical queries during site inspections.
To succeed in this role, you will possess a good understanding of mechanical system designs, including air conditioning, mechanical ventilation, and fire protection systems. You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems that meet industry standards
- Perform initial engineering tasks on mechanical services detailed designs
- Prepare submissions to authorities for approval of design
- Attend project meetings and site inspections
Requirements:
Education:
- Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or related fields
Experience:
- No minimum years of experience; fresh graduates welcomed
Skills:
- Good understanding of mechanical system designs, including ACMV, HVAC, and fire protection systems
