**Job Title:** Marine Mechanical Design Lead

This is a highly skilled mechanical engineering position that involves overseeing the design of mechanical systems, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring project success.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading mechanical design tasks, including 2D/3D design, and overseeing the design of mechanical systems. They will also coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success, support Section Lead in daily project activities, and ensure mechanical tasks meet quality standards and deadlines.

The role involves handling mechanical design independently, leading assigned project sections, supporting Section Lead in daily project activities, and ensuring mechanical tasks meet quality standards and deadlines. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of class rules and HVAC/piping systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in marine mechanical/piping design; 2+ years in a senior role
  • Skilled in AutoCAD, AVEVA, and MS Office
  • Knowledgeable in class rules and HVAC/piping systems
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
