Role

Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for payload recovery system of a sub-orbital launch vehicle. Specifically work on design, verify and validate electro-pneumatic systems for above sub-system. The engineer is ready to work in an intense yet rewarding start-up environment.

Scope

1. Be responsible engineer for the payload recovery system.

3. Participate and contribute to design reviews of other systems.

4. Produce verification, validation, qualification and acceptance plan for said design.

5. Work with external fabrication teams to bring hardware from design to fruition

6. Specifically design electro-pneumatic valve deployment devices.

**Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent

2. 2+ years of experience in relevant engineering field

3. Experienced in designing pneumatic, hydraulic actuation systems.

4. Knowledge in parachute deployment systems.

5. Highly proficient in GD&T principles.
