Display Engineer Position

The role of a Display Engineer is critical to the success of our global display technology operations. As a key point of contact for technical matters, this position requires close collaboration with customers and the HQ team to resolve problems and provide technical support.

This engineer will be responsible for providing front-line support to customers, gathering technical requirements/specifications from them, and explaining technical issues to the HQ Application team. Regular visits to customers are also expected to develop and enhance relationships.

The successful candidate will have a BS degree in Engineering or equivalent, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience in the electronics industry. Field experience or hands-on practice/knowledge of multi-disciplinary system design and development is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide front-line support to customers
  • Gather technical requirements/specification from customers
  • Explain and provide details of technical issues to the HQ Application team
  • Regularly visit customers to develop and enhance relationships
  • Assist customers during qualification and ensure timely development schedules until MP
  • Provide pre-sales support and technical presentations on product strategy, roadmaps, features, industry technology, and competitive positioning
  • Collect customer feedback and provide input to Marketing for design requirements, product enhancements, and new product opportunities
  • Provide demos and explanations of new products to customers
  • Perform tests for display product qualification
Qualifications & Required Skills:
  • BS degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the electronics industry
  • Field experience or hands-on practice/knowledge of multi-disciplinary system design and development (systems such as electrical, electronics, computerized, mechanical, and/or combination of these)
  • Understand the Display-related ecosystem in ASEAN and India regions
