This is a senior display engineer position that serves as the key contact point for our major customers. The role involves working closely with customers and HQ teams to resolve issues, provide technical support, analyze product failures, and develop strong relationships through regular visits and communication.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide front-line technical support to customers by explaining complex technical issues and resolving problems in a timely manner.
- Collect and clarify customer technical requirements and specifications to ensure accurate product development.
- Analyze product failures and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular visits and communication to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Assist customers during product qualification and ensure timely development schedules to meet business goals.
- Offer pre-sales support and technical presentations on product strategy, features, industry trends, and competitive positioning to increase sales and revenue.
- Gather customer feedback and contribute to marketing efforts for product enhancements, new opportunities, and design requirements to improve product offerings.
- Deliver product demos and explanations to customers to showcase product capabilities and features.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the electronics industry with a focus on display technology.
- Field experience or hands-on knowledge of multi-disciplinary system design and development (electrical, electronics, computerized, mechanical, etc.).
- Previous experience as a Field Application Engineer (FAE) in the display panel industry is an asset.
- Understanding of the display ecosystem in ASEAN and India regions.
- Effective communication of technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical skills to understand client needs and collaborate to deliver lasting value.
