Job Title: Swimming Coach

We are seeking a highly motivated coach to lead our developmental student-athletes in swimming towards national team representation at international competitions. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of competitive coaching experience with elite and developmental youth athletes, and possess the equivalent of the SG-Coach Level 1 (Theory and Technical) and/or an international swimming coaching qualification recognised by World Aquatics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing training and competition plans for student-athletes towards high performance in sports based on long-term athlete development principles under the guidance of the Head Coach. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and implementing training and competition plans for student-athletes towards high performance in sports.
  • Keeping track of the progress of each student-athlete and providing regular updates to the Academy, student-athletes and their parents.
  • Working with the Head Coach, fellow coaches, school staff and external stakeholders to achieve the sporting goals and holistic development of the student-athletes under your care.

The ideal candidate should possess good understanding of sports science as applied to elite youth sports based on long term athlete development principles. They should also be competent in value inculcation and character development for student-athletes, and able to work as part of a team while showing initiative and independence in delivering the assigned duties.
