Coach, Swimming Academy

The Singapore Sports School is a specialized independent school dedicated to providing optimal sports development and academic learning for talented student-athletes.

We offer a daily training environment for aspiring national athletes to achieve their dreams.

To fill the full-time position of Coach, Swimming Academy and National Youth Training Centre, we seek a suitable candidate in close partnership with the national sport association for swimming, Singapore Aquatics (SAQ).

You will be responsible for planning and implementing training and competition plans for student-athletes towards high performance in sports, based on long-term athlete development principles, under the guidance of the Head Coach.

You will keep track of the progress of each student-athlete and provide regular updates to the Swimming Academy, the student-athletes, and their parents.

Working with the Head Coach, General Manager, fellow coaches, school staff, and external stakeholders, you will help achieve the sporting goals and holistic development of the student-athletes under your care.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of competitive coaching experience with elite and developmental youth athletes.
  • Possess the equivalent of the SG-Coach Level 1 (Theory and Technical) and/or an international swimming coaching qualification recognized by World Aquatics.
