Job Title: Social Work Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as a Social Work Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting needs assessments to develop appropriate programs that promote the well-being of residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify areas of support and development.
  • Plan, lead, and facilitate various programs to meet the diverse needs of residents.
  • Evaluate group work outcomes and make data-driven decisions using assessment tools.
  • Create and implement group processes and specialized intervention strategies to promote positive change.
  • Facilitate, assess, and review group therapy sessions to ensure they are meeting the needs of residents.
  • Apply restorative practices, including planning and facilitating restorative circles, to foster a sense of community and accountability.
  • Support case management by preparing for and attending all necessary case-related meetings, and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Sciences or related field with experience in mentoring and working with youths.
  • Prior experience working with youth-at-risk is highly desirable.
  • Strong engagement and facilitation skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups.
  • Good knowledge and experience with social work interventions, social policies, and community engagement.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and documents.
