Job Title:

Power and Energy Team Lead

This role is for a seasoned power systems engineer who will lead the development of battery management systems and advanced energy technologies.

  • Lead the design, development, and integration of battery management systems and advanced energy technologies.
  • Conduct complex power system studies, including load flow, protection coordination, and stability analyses.
  • Oversee system integration efforts for energy storage and power distribution systems.
  • Provide high-level technical guidance throughout project life cycles from proposal to commissioning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, software, and systems engineers to deliver complete solutions.
  • Prepare and review technical documents including specifications, reports, and design packages.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand technical requirements and translate them into engineering solutions.
  • Mentor and supervise junior engineers and serve as a technical reviewer for engineering deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in electrical engineering, power systems, or a related field. They should also have a minimum of 10 years of experience in power systems engineering or energy technology development.

The candidate should have proven experience in battery management systems and/or energy storage system integration, as well as strong understanding of power electronics, control systems, and embedded systems.

They should also have experience with simulation tools such as PSCAD, ETAP, PSSE, or MATLAB/Simulink, and familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC) and regulatory frameworks.
