Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Beach Patrol Officer to execute lifeguard duties and maintain beach safety.
  • Provide immediate first aid services whenever necessary, ensuring the well-being of our guests.
  • Deliver comprehensive and educational guidance on beach safety to our guests, promoting a culture of awareness and responsibility.
  • Serve as a beach sentry, verifying the legitimacy of delivery orders or prior approvals for vehicles entering the beach zone.
  • Manage Beach 3 and operate the intercom system, guaranteeing the continuous presence of Beach HQ staff during operating hours and handling general administrative tasks.
  • Undertake marine safety responsibilities, including collecting fish traps, conducting trawling activities, and performing other assigned maintenance tasks.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor, contributing to the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the team.

Key Requirements:

  • Able to swim 200 meters in open water (a significant advantage).
  • Possession of a Bronze Medallion from the Singapore Life Saving Society (an advantageous certification).
  • Knowledge of First Aid and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) procedures (highly beneficial).
  • Fluency in English communication.
  • Willingness to work on weekends and Public Holidays on rotating shifts.
  • Enjoyment of outdoor and beach environments.
  • A positive work attitude and teamwork spirit.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and guest orientation.
  • Training will be provided to enhance your skills and knowledge.
